The annual flower festival, Belgravia in Bloom has returned to London from the 20th– 25thMay, with the theme The Language of Flowers. The festival emphasises the neighbourhood’s beautiful architecture with 50 breath-taking floral arrangements on display to help you uncover the secret meaning of flowers. Belgravia is renowned for its 19thcentury architecture and eclectic mix of independent shops, bars and cafés where the flower festival is taking place, coinciding with the Chelsea Flower Show. For one week only, businesses are taking part in creating beautiful and quirky floral arrangements in their shop front windows and exteriors.
For the community and visitors of Belgravia there will be a Botanic Identity Station in Eccleston Yards, which will have the opportunity to view floral illustrations, enjoy herbal tea blending workshops and more. Four mood gardens will be planted in Halkin Arcade to help improve stress levels and an array of activities are free to experience such as poetry points and flower reading stations. Businesses such as Peggy Porschen, Hari Hotel and Neill Strain are also getting into the spirit of Belgravia in Bloom, with handmade bespoke cupcakes, floral fragranced candles and floral cocktails.
